Easyjet now flies to three new destinations from Scottish airports
Easyjet has recently added new flights from three Scottish airports: Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen International. The budget airline now flies to Geneva, Switzerland from the Aberdeen International airport: to Marrakech, Morroco from Glasgow Airport; and to Funchal, Portugal from the Edinburgh Airport.
These three flights have been added to the current lineup of destinations. From four from Scotland, available flights are now seven. The new routes are expected to serve 34,000 travelers that will be flying during the winter season.
Service to Marrakech will be twice a week and will run the whole year starting the 29th of October. Weekly flights to Geneva from Aberdeen will start on December 13. Funchal from Edinburgh will fly twice a week and will start next year 2015 on the 3rd of February.
“As Scotland’s largest airline, we are pleased to further strengthen our network of easy and affordable destinations based on feedback from our passengers. We believe Marrakech and Funchal will prove popular winter sun destinations while Geneva offers access to the world-class skiing resorts in France and Switzerland,” Ali Gayward, executive at EasyJet said.
